1. With the success of my Butter Tart print and card....

I've added a new embroidered apron!

Being a proud tart myself, I figured I'd make it a butter tart.
    Runny with raisins!! Yes please!!

    A Canadian thing. Yup.

I'm happily re-introducing this apron after many years.... it was my very first apron.

I've met many, many Canadians who explain where, and who said it.

The most common story I found was that it involved
The Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) while visiting The North during the 1950's (insert any northern town) or Newfoundland or Winnipeg.....

and was told to retain his fork. That's it.

Not something The Prince was accustomed to hearing.

I'm sure it was headline news the following day...

and it became a beloved Canadian saying by all good mums in Canada.

  2. I'm heading north! Yay!!

I'll be selling my products all weekend with Karen, the new and fabulous owner of
    The Oxtongue Craft Cabin.

She has a wonderful collection of Canadian art, crafts, glassworks, pottery.... and me!
My Canadiana cards, aprons, t-shirts and prints.

    I'll be outside. How wonderful!!
This weekend's weather is looking great.

    It's easy to get there.

So close to Algonquin Park. It's absolutely beautiful.

Come and say hi!  I'd love to see you!
    xoxo
